BundleUp charges for requests: the calls your backend makes through the Proxy, Unified API and MCP. Integrations, connected accounts, users and workspaces are unlimited on every plan. Connect one account or ten thousand; you pay for what they do.

Plans

Change your plan from Settings → Billing in the dashboard. Only workspace admins and owners can.

What counts as a request

A request is counted every time BundleUp logs one. That includes:
  • Every Proxy, Unified API and MCP call, whether it succeeds or fails.
  • Every retry attempt. A GET that succeeds on its third attempt is three requests, because each attempt is a real call to the provider.
  • Every MCP message: initialize, tools/list, each tools/call, notifications.
  • Requests BundleUp rejects after identifying your workspace, such as an unknown connection ID or a rate-limited request.
Not counted:
  • Requests with a missing or invalid API key.
  • Users going through the authorization flow, and the code exchange.
  • Platform API calls and dashboard activity.
  • Webhooks BundleUp sends you.

Example bills on Pro

Additional usage is billed in proportion: 1.4 million extra requests cost $7.

Keeping costs down

  • Cache data that rarely changes.
  • Use the largest page size (limit=100 on the Unified API).
  • Use the provider’s webhooks instead of polling, where it offers them.
  • Set BU-Max-Retries: 0 on calls where a quick failure is fine.
  • Cache MCP tool lists for the length of a conversation.
Usage is shown under Settings → Billing.
